Aileen is a compassionate massage therapist dedicated to providing a person-centred, holistic, and pragmatic evidence-based care in a comfortable and friendly environment and strives to create a space where one can relax and rejuvenate. Her approach focuses on supporting those who may be seeking relief from pain or discomfort, looking to improve their overall health and well-being, or just needing a peaceful escape from the stresses of everyday life.
In addition to her clinical practice, Aileen is deeply committed to supporting the massage therapy field in various ways. She’s currently balancing her practice with spending more time with her family, while also dedicating time to teaching at Axiom Career College and contributing to the improvement of educational standards with the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA). As a Board Member for the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan (MTAS), she plays a role in evolving the profession and integrating it further into the healthcare system.
Aileen’s passion extends to research as well. She provides administrative support for the Canadian Interdisciplinary Network for Complementary & Alternative Medicine Research (INCAM) and the International Society for Traditional, Complementary & Integrative Medicine Research (ISCMR) and assists with research for the TCIM Lab through the University of Toronto and Carleton University. Her diverse roles highlight her dedication to both her patients and the broader holistic healthcare, education & scientific community, showcasing her commitment to enhancing the field with kindness and expertise.
